Buhari also urged the youths to discontinue the street protests and engage the government in finding a solution to the ongoing state of the country. The President said this during a nationwide broadcast on Thursday. Buhari said: “I called on our youths to discontinue the street protests and to engage the government to find a solution. Your voices have been heard loud and clear. “I urged all Nigerians to go about their business.” Meanwhile, Buhari had earlier at the Security Council Meeting directed the law enforcement agents to use any lawful means to bring back order in affected places.
