Some Nigerian celebrities have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to proffer immediate solutions to insecurity in the country.

Banky W in his outrage said ‘unfit for office persons were calling the shots in Nigeria.

Agreeing with Banky’s assertions, Uti Nwachukwu described the situation in the country as depressing.

Other celebrities also vented their frustration over the nation’s security situation on Twitter.

Here are some comments curated by DAILY POST;

@BankyW “ So much bad news in Nigeria every day. We have become numb to it. If it’s not murder and kidnapping, it’s unrest and people unfit for office calling the shots. It’s like we are in an abusive relationship with the country we love. It’s exhausting. It’s draining. It’s depressing.”

@Ebuka “ Where is safe? Dear Nigeria, be easy on us this week.”

@Uti “ Uti: Na wah. Nigeria. Violence. Which way? What can be done at this point? What can actually be done? We dwell in a really Volatile Country.

“We don talk, We don taya, We don pray we don taya.

“Please a spiritualist should tell us our next step oo. Cos hand don raise now now so!

@Leo “Anything about Insecurity, blame the President. He’s the commander of the armed forces.”

This is coming after Nigeria reported critical security issues, killings in most parts of the country.

Their comments follow reports of kidnapping and the breakdown of law and order reported in many parts of the nation on Monday.

From Anambra State to Kaduna, Yobe, Niger and Lagos States, there were reports of violence and bloodshed.

Also Boko Haram hoisted its flag in Niger State, in Shiroro. a local government area that houses one of Nigeria’s largest power stations, and is only about 2 kilometres from Abuja, the nation’s capital.
