Real Madrid vs Chelsea: I can’t be compared to Hazard yet – Pulisic

A former Chelsea and Real Madrid star, Geremi Njitap, has named Zinedine Zidane as the best coach in the world.

Geremi stated this ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League semi-final first-leg tie with Real Madrid on Tuesday night in Spain.

The former Cameroon international won the Champions League twice with Real Madrid and won the Premier League twice with Chelsea before he retired from the game.

“As we both speak French, I helped Zidane a lot in his adaptation [at Real Madrid],” Geremi told Radio MARCA.

“He is a very shy guy, he had great experiences as a player and is now showing that, if you work, you can get to wherever you want to go.

“Zidane is a guy who loves what he is doing, and only he can decide what he wants to do. I think he will continue [at Real Madrid].

“If Zidane wins another Champions League, it is something we have never seen before in the world but, even if he does not win it, he is the best coach in the world.

“When you look at Zidane’s career as a coach, you can see that he has only [been coaching for] a few years, but [has won] many titles. His [win] percentage is the best: he is younger but has many titles.”

Asked who will win the Champions League tie between his former clubs, Geremi could not say.

He added, “Chelsea or Madrid? I can’t choose, I want both of them to win.

“It’s like [choosing between] mum or dad. May the best team win.”
